What is DiveLog?

DiveLog is a digital logbook for scuba divers: log dives, import data from your dive computer, manage sites, centers, buddies, equipment and media. It runs on the web and as an installable PWA.

Is DiveLog free?

Yes, the free plan lets you log up to 20 dives per year with all core features. For unlimited dives, dive computer imports, advanced statistics and PDF exports, upgrade to DiveLog Pro.

Can I import dives from my dive computer?

Yes. We support Bluetooth and USB/serial for Ratio, Seac and other compatible models. Just connect the computer or upload the manufacturer's UDDF/CSV/XML file.

What calculators are available?

We offer free calculators for SAC/RMV, nitrox MOD, gas blending, gas consumption planning and unit conversion. Some tools require an account to save results.

What are SAC and RMV?

Accepted Answer

SAC (Surface Air Consumption) and RMV (Respiratory Minute Volume) measure how much gas you breathe at the surface. They help plan reserves and choose the right tank.

Is the nitrox MOD calculator safe to use?

The calculator gives the maximum operating depth for a chosen mix and maximum PpO2. It is a planning aid, not a replacement for training, tables or your dive computer.

Can I use DiveLog offline?

Yes. DiveLog is a PWA with caching and background sync: you can view and add data without a connection, and it syncs once you are back online.

Is my data safe?

Data is hosted on Lovable Cloud with authentication, automatic backups and RLS. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Can I share a dive with my buddies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you add a registered buddy, the dive can be shared automatically into their logbook. You keep control and edit permissions.

Does DiveLog support imperial units?

Yes. Each user can choose in their profile whether to use metric (metres, °C, bar, kg) or imperial (feet, °F, psi, lb) units.

What is gas blending and how is it calculated?

Gas blending is the mixing of gases to obtain a desired nitrox or trimix blend. The calculator uses partial pressures and gas laws to show how much of each component to add safely.
